Signs of meth addiction can vary from addict to addict depending on how far into addiction they are.  Many meth addicts are easily spotted because of the physical features that they obtain while addicted to meth.  A meth addict’s face becomes sunk in and “dead” like because of the lack of care they take of themselves while addicted to meth.  As well as a meth addict’s face being sunk in, they also face problems such as aged and spotted skin as if they are twenty or so years older than what they actually are.  Meth addict’s teeth begin to rot out and they usually end up with little to no teeth after they have let their addiction take over them.  A few more physical obvious signs when seeing if someone has a meth addiction problem are to see if they have spots on their skin that look like sores.  These sores come from a chemical imbalance and also from the meth addict scratching away their skin because of “bugs” underneath it.

Some behavioral signs of meth addiction to look for include:

  • Mood swings
  • Changing from job to job
  • Different friends
  • Seclusion
  • Depression
  • Don’t Put Off Getting Help Today For The Addiction Of Meth, Tomorrow Might Be Too Late.

  •

Any of these signs can be a factor of meth addiction; it is your job as a loved one to determine how bad the addiction is and planning an intervention so that the meth addict can get the help that they need.  Almost all meth addicts do not seek treatment on their own; they need the support and love you can offer them so that they can overcome their addiction to meth.  Do not wait any longer, if the signs all lead to a meth addiction you need to make the first move and make sure the meth addict gets the treatment they need because tomorrow might be a day to late.
